Discover Ascot, Brisbane
Ascot is one of Brisbane's most walkable, leafy pockets — and Airway Motel sits right in the middle of it. Step out the door and you're minutes from two of Queensland's premier racecourses, the cafes and restaurants of Racecourse Road, a fenced dog park, and an easy drive from Brisbane Airport, Portside Wharf and Eat Street Northshore. Here's what's worth exploring while you stay with us.
Racing & Local Heritage
Eagle Farm Racecourse
~1.2 km — a 12–15 min walk or 3 min drive

The motel's nearest pub and dining option — a relaxed sports club with pub classics, steaks, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Handy for a meal without needing the car.

One of Brisbane's best-loved riverside parks — big shaded lawns, a jacaranda and rose garden, and a City Cat ferry stop if you'd rather arrive by water.
Pet-Friendly Outings
Ascot Park Fenced Dog Park
~750 m — a 9–10 min walk
A fully fenced, off-leash dog park right in Ascot, with shaded seating and drinking water for dogs and owners. The closest off-leash option to the motel.
